Re build our freakin rail transportation sytem. Do the math… oil sands are a very bad solution.

By the way has anybody here seen how the tar sands are mined?
Here’s a hint. It makes the gulf oil spill and kentucky coal fields look like a field of dreams.

By the way I agree with you about our legislators. Dumb as a box of rocks, and slimier than oil sands mining.

Whether it’ll be carrying oil sands crude, I don’t know. Surely the Big Problem in the Gulf of Mexico is going to make overland oil transmission a much more promising prospect. At least you can shut it off.
