
I recently updated the TMR Advanced Graphite Projects Index, to reflect one new and four updated mineral-resource estimates, announced since the last update. The effective date of the updates is February 4, 2014. The specifics:
- On May 22, 2013, Kibaran Resources Limited (ASX:KNL) announced a maiden JORC-compliant resource estimate for its Epanko graphite project in Tanzania. According to the associated news release, 14.9 Mt of the resource is at the Inferred level @ 10.5% Cg, at an 8% Cg cut-off grade;
- On December 10, 2013, Syrah Resources Inc. (ASX:SYR) announced an updated JORC-compliant resource estimate for its Balama West graphite project in Mozambique. According to the associated news release, 11.5 Mt of the Ativa Zone is at the Measured level @ 19.8% Cg, 2.0 Mt is at the Indicated level @ 19.6% Cg and 37.8 Mt is at the Inferred level @ 19.9% Cg (each at a 13.0% Cg cut-off grade). 116.5 Mt of the Mualia Zone is at the Inferred level @ 17.7% Cg, at a 13.0% Cg cut-off grade;
- On December 19, 2013, Lincoln Minerals Limited (ASX:LML) announced an updated JORC-compliant resource estimate for its Kookaburra Gully graphite project in Australia. According to the associated news release, 1.5 Mt of the resource is at the Indicated level @ 13.9% Cg and 0.7 Mt is at the Inferred level @ 17.3% Cg (each at a 5% Cg cut-off grade);
- On January 20, 2014, Graphite One Resources Inc. (TSX.V:GPH) announced an updated NI 43-101-compliant resource estimate for its Graphite Creek graphite project in the USA. According to the associated news release, 186.9 Mt of the resource is at the Inferred level @ 5.5% Cg (each at an 3% Cg cut-off grade); and
- On January 28, 2014, Focus Graphite Inc. (TSX.V:FMS) announced an updated NI 43-101-compliant resource estimate for its Lac Knife graphite project in Canada. According to the associated news release, 0.4 Mt of the resource is at the Measured level @ 23.7% Cg, 9.1 Mt is at the Indicated level @ 14.4% Cg and 3.1 Mt is at the Inferred level @ 13.3% Cg, at a 3.0% Cg cut-off grade.

The Index currently consists of 23 graphite mineral resources, associated with 20 advanced graphite projects, 16 different companies and located in 12 different regions within 8 different countries. Including the projects on the Index, TMR is currently monitoring a total of 290 graphite projects under development associated with 135 different companies in 27 different countries.
