I recently updated the TMR Advanced Graphite Projects Index, to reflect a new NI 43-101 compliant mineral-resource estimate that was announced recently. I also made some other updates. The effective date of the updates is October 16, 2012. The specifics:
- On September 18, 2012, Flinders Resources Limited (TSX:FDR) announced a NI 43-101 compliant mineral-resource estimate for its Kringel project in Sweden. According to the associated announcement, 1.5 Mt of the resource is at the Measured level @ 10.4% Cg and 1.1 Mt is at the Indicated level @ 10.7% Cg (each at a cut-off grade of 7% Cg).
FYI, TMR is now tracking a total 168 graphite projects under development associated with 85 different companies in 19 different countries.
You can access the updated details via the Index page.
Disclosure: at the time of writing, Gareth Hatch holds no shares or stock options in any of the companies mentioned in this article, or in any publicly traded graphite company, nor is he doing paid consulting for any such company.

Gareth,
Thanks for sharing your experience on the visit to Kringel Graphite deposit. Your report was very detailed and included some of the issues all graphite mines must deal with if they want to get into mining of Natural Flake Graphite. I am glad you got to experience seeing a past graphite processing factory and now have a better understanding of some of the many issues each graphite deposit must deal with.
