October 2013 Updates To The TMR Advanced Graphite Projects Index

I recently updated the TMR Advanced Graphite Projects Index, to reflect two updated and one new mineral-resource estimates which were announced since the last update. The effective date of the updates is October 25, 2013. The specifics:

  • On September 3, 2013, Flinders Resources Ltd. (TSX.V:FDR) announced an updated NI 43-101-compliant resource estimate for its Kringel graphite project in Sweden. According to the associated news release, 1.0 Mt of the resource is at the Measured level @ 10.7% Cg, 1.8 Mt is at the Indicated level @ 10.7% Cg and 2.8 Mt is at the Inferred level @ 10.7% Cg (each at a 7.0% Cg cut-off grade).
  • On September 19, 2013, Ontario Graphite Ltd. announced an updated NI 43-101-compliant resource estimate for its Kearney graphite project in Canada. According to the associated news release, 51.1 Mt of the resource is at the Indicated level @ 2.14% Cg and 46.8 Mt is at the Inferred level @ 2.0% Cg, each at an unspecified cut-off grade.
  • On October 17, 2013, Graniz Mondal Inc. (TSX.V:GRA.H) announced a maiden NI 43-101-compliant resource estimate for its Mousseau West graphite project in Canada. According to the associated news release, 4.1 Mt of the resource is at the Inferred level @ 6.2% Cg, at an unspecified cut-off grade.

The Index currently consists of 23 graphite mineral resources, associated with 20 advanced graphite projects, 15 different companies and located in 11 different regions within 7 different countries. Including the projects on the Index, TMR is currently monitoring a total of 272 graphite projects under development associated with 128 different companies in 26 different countries.
